Overview
Boutique lofts inside the cliff-top village of Afytos, with sea-view balconies, old stone walls and glass-walled bathrooms.
Vrachos means “rock” in Greek, after the cliff Afytos is built on. The lofts sit inside the village, a short walk from the church square and the lanes of limestone houses, and their balconies look out over the Toroneos Gulf.
Inside, the palette is quiet: whitewashed walls against old stone, oak and linen, driftwood beams, and bathrooms enclosed in clear glass with softly lit mirrors. Some lofts add a lounge corner with a sofa bed — useful for a family, or simply for a longer stay.
Everything that makes Afytos worth the trip is on foot: dinner in the village, the Folklore Museum, the summer concerts of the Afytos Festival and the paths down to the beaches below.

Where can I park in Afytos?
The centre of Afytos is largely pedestrian. Message George before you arrive and he will tell you where to leave the car nearest to the lofts.
Can I enjoy Afytos without a car?
Inside the village, yes: tavernas, cafés, the square and the paths to the beaches are all on foot. For other beaches and day trips, a car makes life easier.
Which beach in Afytos is sandy?
Varkes, below the village, is the sandy one and holds a Blue Flag for 2026. The central beach has flat rock slabs, and Liosi is a longer stretch with beach bars.
